As I stepped through the door, I knew I was in for a flavorful journey that would leave a lasting memory. The romantic atmosphere set the stage for a carefully curated dining experience, with eight masterful dishes that left me thoroughly satisfied. Each dish was extraordinary, with a divine and clean taste that showcased the best of local ingredients. From the catfish mousse to the gazpacho, every bite was a delight. The bread with whipped brown caramel butter and local hummus on crackers were both delicious. The Stranger in the Night dish, featuring onion jam and bao, was a delightful surprise. The Burning Love mashed potatoes and trout tartar were standout dishes, but the mushroom soup stole my heart with its warmth and well-balanced flavors. While the lamb dish didn't quite suit my taste, the desserts were creative and captivating, especially the elderberries with bourbon vanilla. The three chocolates dessert was a playful combination, though the mango added a hint of confusion. Overall, my experience at Amandus was truly memorable.
