Pizzas were very good, napolese style, worth a visit if you grave for pizza. But be aware that the place does not exist with this name anymore. It’ called Julien … We had a hard time locating it. The phone number has remained the same and as I made the reservation via Tripadvisor page to Marechiare I did nit realze the name change. We were desperately trying to find the place ar the time of the resevation, hoing back... View all feedback.
What John Ling doesn't like about Ristorante Pizzeria Marechiaro:
We were looking forward to having a meal here after visiting last year - but the service was awful, The waitress had a very bad attitude and slammed down a menu when we asked to change tables as she had tried to seat us next to the open window of the kitchens. The started took 45 minutes to come and the main course 1 hour and 20 minutes!! Will not be going back. View all feedback.
On a square before the multitude of restaurants lined by the sea very pleasant terrace with small sea view. reception of extreme kindness . perfect kitchen , well cooked fish and pizza with full flour pate ( plus digeste) well garnished and excellent. Very good desserts. I highly recommend.
It is truly a pleasure to be at this restaurant. I have not been here for quite a while, since it was closed for so long. I just passed by to see if it was open and surprise it was So, i stopped by to have a vegan pizza which was as always fantastic. This is one of the few places in Villefranche and surroundings where u dont have to explain or apologize for being vegan and feeling excluded. I adore this place and the family that runs it Thank you Bruno
You need to reserve if you want to sit on a table outside just beyond the awning, but it's the best place for uninterrupted views and people watching. The menu isn't massive, but most typical Italian stuff is there, so still a good choice. Portions weren't too small and the prices on a par with most around the square. The Italian waitresses all spoke very good English, so no need to fumble in French. It's our number one choice in the square now, so it must have something worthwhile.
It is a nice restaurant to eat with the family and enjoy Italian food on the Cote d'Azur. The team (mainly from Naples) are friendly and the service is really good and in average fast
We visited the restaurant with our family, the pizza they served was above our expectation. Soooo delicious. The waiter Alberto or Alfredo (can’t remember) provided outstanding service and we had a lovely chat too.
