I travel a lot around the world and I am used to real great Chinese food, Gourmet d'Asie is not the greatest Chinese food I ever had but I must say the ratio quality price is great. The buffets are covered with a great choice and there are dishes for all appetites. The wok corner is very professional and really delicious . Shushies are also very well presented and in abondance.A dessert table has a very nice choice o... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Gourmet d'asie:
For lovers of all you can eat restaurants, it is a good place. It is not expensive and if you come early enough, you will have enough to eat. But if you come az around 1.30pm,during the week days you will wait for a table and won't have a lot of food left. It is a simple restaurant and good for a quick lunch. View all feedback.
For $20 a person, I think this place is a demolition. It would eat a ton to make this worth your time. Most foods seem to be from frozen bags that you can get on most Chinese markets. The wok part can be a little better. The things prepared in the restaurant, like the summer rolls, show how much the owners jump off from the customers. You basically get rice paper around a watt of rice noodles and bean sprouts. The Pearl de Coco literally bounced when I accidentally fell back on the plate. And the service. . basically, after serving drinks, they only have to pick up the used bowl. But they do this by first wearing the used plates they carry on your table. Not very appetizing, the accumulated remains of strangers just placed before your face while you eat. Imagine a bunch of chocolate ice cream melted on half eaten shrimp, sushi and fried rice. Yum. Is there no hygiene rules? Why do not use a shopping cart to select used dishes. At least it wouldn't be right next to your food.
