We had an amazing local lunch and this little authentic French restaurant in the center of Villandraut. The prices are more than correct. You can have a menu for a small price but if you want a more luxurious lunch there is plenty of choice. They have a nice terras as well. We can highly recommend this place.

I spent a night here recently and it's great, really good value, friendly host who speaks perfect English. Villandraut is a pleasant village with a couple of eating options, rooms are great, for me this was an ideal place to break up a long journey from Spain. Highly recommended . The restaurant was unfortunately not open when I stayed.
We chose from the a la carte menu. The duck and steak as well as the cheese in filo with salad were superb. The staff, owner and chef were quite hospitable. Our French is limited but luckily their English was not. Breakfast was typical and we were satisfied.
