I wasn't expecting such high quality for the lunch menu. An incredible value for money at €18, with original recipes for a lunchtime meal. For starters, a flavorful Béarnaise garbure with an excellent broth. For the main course, a sweet, homemade Flemish carbonnade with fries. Delicious and generous. For dessert, a perfectly executed pear Belle Hélène. Rustic dining room with an open grill kitchen. Smiling, welcoming, and efficient service on a Wednesday lunchtime. Reasonable prices. A lovely, lively atmosphere.

We enjoyed local products, simple but divinely enhanced by the chef's knowledge. And everything is homemade and LA is not a simple formula!!!!thank you for this meal which reconciled us with traditional gastronomy. I would add, the welcome and the top service (smile and professionalism). I encourage you, if you pass through Bazas, after stopping at the cathedral, to come and eat in this place, you will not be disappointed.
