I’m giving 4 stars, but the food was 5 stars. Honestly, the restaurant did not smell great, first impression, I thought, yup, no high expectations for enjoying this meal. But. It definitely has a hometown feel. The food was great, we had a burger, Rueben, and a panini. All were great. As well as the pizza logs. The waitress was somewhat prompt, wasn’t super friendly at first, but warmed up quickly. Service wasn’t sup... View all feedback.
What Paul Johansing doesn't like about Silverlake Family:
We are new to the area and looked for a reliable place. Food is great but don’t come here after 7 expecting the salad bar. One of the few places left that has a salad bar and we have come in twice lately for the salad bar but the staff clears it starting at 7 and they close at 8. Don’t advertise the salad bar if you don’t have it. View all feedback.
Perfect roadside stop for the family. Kid-friendliness: Our kids loved it
Went for a fish fry and it was horrible. The batter was thick and the fish tasted really fishy and gooey. The chicken for the soulvaki was tough and dry. The water tasted like chlorine and metallic too. Never again!!!

Good fish fry with a full salad bar. Great little home town place.
Best blueberry pancakes I’ve ever had — and real maple syrup and butter. Prompt and friendly service too!
