Nestled in Perry, this kitschy local steakhouse offers generous portions, a hearty salad-and-soup bar, and often attentive, family-friendly service. Many praise steaks, stuffed fish and desserts, and ample parking makes it convenient for groups and work gatherings. However, experiences vary: guests report inconsistent cooking (undercooked or bland dishes), occasional overheated dining rooms, and prices that feel high. Overall, a warm, lively spot with standout moments but occasional kitchen and comfort issues.

My wifes steak diane was mostly gristle and wasn 't eaten, a salad bar is $18.. my chicken parm was good, and large. But it was double the cost of most restaurants. It was OK at best and not worth 2-3x the price of a comparable restaurant.

Went here for my 5 yr anniversary dinner! My husband had prime rib and lobster tails. I had chicken marsala. The server seemed scared to wait on us. Her confidence will grow as she continues to wait on tables.

It took 20 minutes for the waitress to show up, and another 10 minutes for her to bring our drinks and take our order, making the wait 30 minutes so far. The salad bar was poorly stocked, and the seafood chowder resembled a watery shadow of what it used to be. Over an hour later, just as we were about to ask for the check and leave, our food finally arrived, bringing the total wait time to 1.5 hours. I must say, the chicken parmesan at the bowling alley is larger, better, and half the price. My stuffed haddock was actually not stuffed at all, and was half the size it used to be under the previous owners; I found a small dollop of stuffing next to the fish. To make matters worse, a loud and unruly family was seated next to us. One member of the group even squeezed into the hallway, right by my leg. They started off by trying to get a meal comped for their coughing elderly relative, which didn’t work, so they shifted to asking for a discount for the entire group. Meanwhile, the waitress was overly attentive to them and completely ignored us. Strangely, people who arrived half an hour after us were served before we were. The waitress gave us the runaround, and after exactly 12 minutes of having our food, she invited us to leave because it was getting busy and they needed the table. While it was hot and overcrowded due to overbooking, we noticed there were only four other diners when we first arrived. This restaurant used to be a classy destination under previous management, and it was deeply disappointing to see the decline. I felt the need to apologize to my fiancée's parents for the experience. What was once a place for dressy attire, cuff links, and manners has now turned into a noisy, casual space filled with overly tattooed patrons in baseball caps. It feels more like an overpriced burger joint now. We left feeling frustrated and $160 poorer.
