The best burger I’ve had in years. The burgers are ginormous and have the best bun I’ve had with a burger too. We were at Burger Box at a busy time so we had to wait a little while for the burger but good food comes to those who wait, it was well worth it. The service was great, the staff would come over to keep us updated on the wait for the food. We had our appetizer's to hold us over, do not over do it with the ap... View all feedback.
What Nia Scott doesn't like about Burger Box:
So it's not really their fault, the place is small and the foods really good. Alot of people come from out of town to eat here. (Me) but college student crowd the place and stuff. Waited an hour for my food unfortunately. Bring games because they take long. Bring uno cards or a board came that's fast. Bring your own wine if you can. Um yeah it's bad. Parking is a mad house View all feedback.

We had our appetizer's to hold us over, do not over do it with the appetizer’s because with the size of the burger you will be over full by the time you finish eating. Plenty of parking in the rear so bring your appetite and don’t forget your bib!
Burger Box elevated burgers to an art form. There were a number of ways to veganize the burgers on the menu. My husband and I ordered a vegan version of The Garlic Rosemary and The Horseradish and they were by far the best vegan burgers we have ever eaten. Not only did the burgers have double Impossible burger patties, but the toppings and the vegan brioche made an unbelievable combination. We also ordered the warm apple cider, regular fries for the table, and pasta for our daughter.Although there was a little bit of a wait, our server, Stephanie, told us ahead of time to at there would be a wait, she checked in on us, and managed all the tables and customers on her own. While we waited, we played some games the restaurant had by the door and it passed the time relatively quickly. We were just passing through New Platz on the way to Hurley and we were so happy that we stopped by Burger Box.

New Paltz life time localBeen here 4 times since they've opened. The reviews on the food quality are all on point the food is amazing but every time we have ever been here we have been left with an hour or more wait whether we order ahead for pick up or not. It is excusable in a business to be running behind during high traffic hours and in their first year or so of business but after several years there is no reason that I call ahead get told 20 min show up 5 min late to a building with almost no customers in it and have to wait for another 30-40 min. I highly recommend the food but don't go there if your hungry
Food: delicious, well worth the wait. Don't come too hungry because it may take an hour+ from sitting down to eating your food. We were chomping at the bit by the time it all came out. Really fantastic burgers and fries, and a nice selection of cold drinks. A few hot drink options but it's certainly no café.Service: the waitstaff is always moving around and busy and they do come check on you when they can. They were really pleasant regardless of the crazy running around and I felt taken care of.Atmosphere: Place is cozy, small, and comfortable. Dark (black) and wood are the main colors in the restaurant so it makes all the colorful things like people's clothes really pop. Noise level is about average town diner to loud. It does have a sit down bar with sports on a screen. It's probably best that you don't come with more than a group of 4 people. Solo is fine too if you're coming through alone.Oh also this picture is one of the bathroom toilet roll holders and it's great so I gotta share.Vegetarian options: So at the top of the burger section, it shows that you can pick your protein. Beef, impossible burger, beans, veggies, chicken, turkey.Otherwise, they do serve salad and fries and fried cauliflower (which are like chicken nuggets but veggie) and some other stuff that's non-meat. Basically, you'll not go hungry if you're vegetarian.Parking: Paid street or free lot behind the building, or the paid lot down behind the Starbucks nearby. It's main street in New Paltz, so it's always a little tricky to park if you're not from the area.
