This lovely old place ain’t what it used to be. New ownership changed menu and price increases both to the detriment of the fare, ambiance and service. The elegant touches of napkin rings, fine china and the like have disappeared. Service was somewhat amateurish and uneven. My husband and I were driving through Brewster N.Y and decided to try the Arch restaurant, the atmosphere is very warm and inviting, really cute place. For appetizers we had the escargot, crab and lobster cake and lobster bisque, everything was delicious! For dinner I had the beef wellington, it was cooked to perfection!
