The Putnam House Tap Room - Bethel

Putnam House is FANTASTIC! I experienced the Putnam house as a child and immediately loved the atmosphere. As an adult he went back and still loved it! The food is incredible!, Everything on the menu is delicious. This is the first restaurant that I took my 7 years old in the time when she ate her whole meal, which was the Steak Tips! Staff and owners are so personal, they immediately make you feel as if you entered into their house and they cannot wait to feed you. Not to mention 2020? ve has me planning through some pretty stressful pandemic meals! What I was able to feed my family a whole week at such a reasonable price! Thank you, Putnam House!

There's something special about this place. Maybe it's the historic building, combined with great food and atmosphere! Food is always delicious and consistent. Wait staff is always courteous and attentive. Beautiful outdoor space. The inside more formal dining room is one of my mother's favorites when she visits. Reminds me of old world charm. Happy to have this as part of our beautiful town! My favorite is the risotto by the way!
