We chose to dine al fresco and were absolutely delighted!!! Taberna Pimenta is set in a small, quaint village surrounded by lovely greenery and rolling hills and fresh country air. From the presunto, olives and country-style corn bread to the grilled codfish dish to the fried pork cubes and bolachos accompanied by their in- house vinho verde: so fresh, so delicious!!! The service provided to us was absolutely exceptional!!! Make sure to call ahead and make a reservation. We cannot wait to return!!!

The atmosphere inside could be a bit more “welcome” as the tables are not prepared and the line-up of the tables are like in a classroom. Mix it and dimm the lights a little.
