Ristorante Pizzeria S.Martino Francelos

Restaurante localizado sobre a praia e por isso muito agradável. As pizzas são muito boas e os tamanhos são muito generosos.Serviço por vezes demorado.

Sou cliente dos restaurantes S. Martino (tanto no Porto como em Gaia) há algum tempo. Este em particular tem uma esplanada agradável para uma tarde de verão e pôr-do-sol. O serviço é desorganizado mas atencioso. Pedimos 2 pizzas, uma delas com anchovas, e como o funcionário se parecia estar a esquecer, frisamos várias vezes que era com anchovas. Quando as pizzas vieram, esqueceram-se das anchovas. Foi rapidamente remediado: fizeram uma nova pizza e ofereceram a pizza errada. No final ofereceram café e limoncello a três, por isso não posso dizer que foi mau.

This time without fireworks like before. Pasta was overcooked without taste, even I order those with truffles. I also ordered margarita with garlic, but I got it without it. The wine proposed by the staff was good. Even like the place, but in preview years was... much better.

I've been a frequent customer of the San Martino restaurant for several years. I don't know if management has changed recently, but the staff has been reworked and maneuvered. About two weeks ago we had dinner, the restaurant was empty... (occupied with only one other table) and the staff took our plates away before we left our cutlery. Today at 7 pm with the restaurant empty, we were recommended to go because it got time for dinner and we had not yet made the request for dinner. The President. - The debate is closed. I'm very sorry, but the restaurant has terrible service. I never want to go back! Not RECOMMENDATIONS!

We had a lovely lunch today, my mozzarella, tomato and rocket salad was good, it needed a bit of seasoning but it was tasty. My husband’s carpaccio looked good and he cleared his plate so it must have been good. I had a tuna pizza...which was very good but again it needed some black pepper and the mini mozzarella balls weren’t needed. My husband’s carbonara wasn’t really carbonara, it was more like bacon and cream pasta. Carbonara should be garlic, parsley, bacon and egg, cream is not necessary, hence the four stars. After a very long walk down the beach we came back for gelato, my two scopes were gorgeous, just what I need in a hot and humid afternoon.
