Ar D'mar Esplanada - Vila Nova de Gaia

She arrived in Vigo, Spain, a few days before for a television report about the Real Club Celta de Vigo. She had taken that day off to visit me in Porto, Portugal, knowing I was there. Vigo to Porto was a 2h30 train journey. We had breakfast at Ar D'Mar, on Madalena beach in Vila Nova de Gaia, a small café-bar with a comfortable and wide outdoor space, whose esplanade extended over the dunes that enclosed the sandy beach, offering a tranquil view over the beach and the sea. After that we went to visit the picturesque Capela do Senhor da Pedra...

We came here twice during our week long stay at a nearby airbnb. We really enjoyed the environment, ocean view and the service. Solid place for brunch.

Delicious food and drinks, great atmosphere! what a wonderful view with the nice weather as well.

Great kitchen, service is very good. Beautiful place and you see Ocean from a chair.

This is a great place to sit, relax and drink. They have tapas that are good. Chorizo was excellent with bread they give for 5 euros. Calamari was only rings and just ok
