That is why we only explored the entry exit service (very nice! , the cleanness of the territory and impeccable tidiness of the lavatory and showers (cleaner than at home The sky is big at night, the stars and Milky Way are incredibly bright and clean!! The v... read more This was a lovely, peaceful and scenic campsite. The facilities were clean and well maintained. There were ample toilet/ shower blocks for the whole site. The views from the edges of the campsite across the Barragem were beautiful. We found a nice spot overlooking the water where we could walk down to a sheltered cove which was great to swim in. We did not use the restaurant as it was not open for dinner but found an excellent bar/ restaurant 15 mins walk away next to the dam.

Wonderful campsite! Clean facilities. Beautifully planted trees. We had brought kayaks and had a super paddle all over the baragem. Swam from the opposite shore... read more Wonderful campsite! Clean facilities. Beautifully planted trees. We had brought kayaks and had a super paddle all over the baragem. Swam from the opposite shore, the water was so warm (May) The campsite was silent at night. The vehicles very well spaced out. Reception ladies were lovely and friendly and the lady in the restaurant was so kind and helpful! She moved us so we had a better view, then moved tables outside so no one sat in front of us! Food was good. The younger girl in the restaurant is good at her job but seems a little shy still. The prices were probably higher than we normally pay, usually a 3 course meal with wine is around €40 €45 at night our bill was €73 for 1 starter then 2 courses each and 1/2 jug of wine. But the ambience, attendance from the lady and views made up for it!

It’s a peaceful place overlooking the lake. It’s quite. We payed for a small van and two people 24.50 Euros per night in April. Sorry guys that’s way to much! The facilities were ok, old but functional. The people very charming and friendly. We would have stayed longer if the price would be better.
