Overall experience was good thanks to their top quality waiter, Americo. Upon arrival, we expressed to the manager who approached up that my friend had a severe dairy allergy. He said in very broken English ‘yes just fish’. We were then welcomed by a friendly waiter with very good English. He reassured us that our food would be cooked without any dairy products and helped us decide what to choose from the menu. 30 seconds after he left, the manager bought over a platter of food that we haven’t ordered. The food was put in front of us and we were ignored. The waiter went to speak to his manager and was shouted at very loudly in ear shot of everyone in the restaurant. Nobody came over to us so I got up to see what was going on. The manager was rude to me and told me to talk to the waiter, Americo. He apologised and said he doesn’t know how we ended up with a platter that we hadn’t ordered. I think the manager was angry at the thought of having to take a full platter back to the kitchen. I said that so long as it was cooked with no dairy, we were happy to keep it. We ordered a sea bass and oysters as it was less food than we had planned to have. Americo made our visit worthwhile. He tended to our ever need, filleted the sea bass and plated it for us. If it wasn’t for the great service received by Americo, I would only be leaving 1 star and would have sent the food back. Americo is a real asset to the restaurant. The manager should be grateful for him!

Upon arrival we asked for fresh fish, linguado was recommended but on our plate it seemed to be not fresh, trust me, I know what is fresh or not. The manager ran away and we have not seen him after that. Het let his waiter arrange for the cheque and payment. Not even a coffee was offered. But 42,50€ for an old fish on the bill. Next time pass by this place.

I had dinner with three friends at this restaurant and we all raved about the good food, excellent staff and ambience. Having walked past the restaurant many times, i had no idea it was so good. The menu (mainly seafood) is good. The wine list is also ideal to pair with your main course. The staff were extremely thorough and friendly. The food was faultless; the grilled squid and prawns, monkfish rice and steak were delicious. The dessert trolley also had a great selection if you have a very sweet tooth (Portuguese desserts are very sweet). I will dine there again.

Love this place, we had a lunch during our tour in Portugal. We loved the place, the views, the Fresh seafood and the service. Seefood Rice For two is huge and very tasty!! Deserts are to die for!

Whilst the view is nice, the restaurant itself has a very dated decor and no ambience at all. The lighting made it feel like a cafeteria and they had a large TV playing the news in the dining room. No music. We found the majority of the waiting staff to be pretty unfriendly and inattentive. The food itself was cold when it arrived. The fish was average, but by the time you get through the bones there was hardly anything there and there were hardly any sides 2 potatoes and a spoonful of spinach and that was it. This place was recommended to us so we were very disappointed. We left feeling hungry and unimpressed.
