Suður-vík Restaurant Café Bar

A wonderful dinner experience! The menu has clearly labeled gluten-free options and the Thai Curry was fantastic. The restaurant is also very cozy and welcoming and the waiting staff was very friendly.

Was really curious to eat here - super nice atmosphere. Some things are however gluten-free marked and the Gf modifications make them less pleasant (especially we have baked brie, but they did not have a Gf bread, so I only had to observe a few spoons of Brie and how my partner eat the rest). Lamb was great. Bring your own bread and you will have a good experience.

The standard menu has GF markings for everything GF is or can. The waiter was knowledgeable and the food was fantastic. I have allergies to wheat, nuts and sesame and feel great here after eating.

Gluten-free options on request, most fish and meat dishes could be made GF, ordered the speciality of the day that was chicken curry. Delicious. Beautiful atmosphere with dining area in the room of the house.

Clearly marked GF options on the menu. I got their caprese starter, pan-fried charr and the meringue dessert. All delicious!
