Worth a speci... read more We were looking for a place to eat on our way from Verona to Trieste. What a wonderful find! The owners are such lovely people. We ate splendidly. Worth a special trip. The outside veranda is very charming. An oasis after a long drive.

No one to be see... read more After an exhausting Italy highway trp with way too much traffic and jam we followed the tripadvisor recommendations and stopped here for lunch. No one to be seen when we arrived.We were the rirst ones to arrive. The owner greeted us and brought us to a wonderful, sun protected veranda. White table cloth, silver cutlery, a very tasteful interior with bar. Before we placed our order for the drinks even, the owner proposed to bring pasta for the kids. Travelling with tired hungry kids is no fun, so the owner knew exactly what to do to keep our kids happy and quiet. The pasta arrived after five minutes and proved that pasta is not equal to pasta. This was very, very good. Afterwards our starters came, all delightful pasta dishes. Then we had meat and fish. Delctable. Even better were teh desserts. My cherry tart with almonds and amaretto ice cream is now on my shortlist of best desserts even. Wine was great too, prices were reasonable. Last but not least, the service was what I call real service. Friendly, almost unnoticable, in no way overbearing. Just fantastic. This must have been the best review I have written in a very long time. PS: the owners do not speak English but one of the assistant cooks came and helped us translate.
