Rod Gun Steak House - Vigo County

I love this place I have been coming here since I was a baby.I am sad that it burned down it feels like so many memories went down the drain.

Everything was very good: the service, the atmosphere, and the food. We really enjoyed our visit.

Great food, cool historic atmosphere with lots of memorabilia on the walls and the best margaritas in the area!

I wanted to take a moment to offer feedback. This was our first time at the restaurant. We had reservations for 5:30 this evening. We were very disappointed with the service. Our waitress never offered refills; we had to flag a guy down for them. After they dropped our food off, no one came to check on us to see if we needed anything. Then, we once again had to flag down someone walking by in the hall for more refills, boxes and the check. For a meal of $101., I can honestly say disappointed is the correct word. It’s unfortunate really. We were looking forward to this 1st time visit for a while now. We’ve always heard such great things about this place but it definitely did not live up to it with our dining experience. The food was good but the service was not.

Wife and I had very good NY Strips there recently.....other food good as well. We like going there. Fair prices too. Chicken livers, onion rings and mushrooms are the best around.
