What Jonathan Weir doesn't like about Sunrise Family:
The air conditioning didn't seem to working which was an immediate issue. Our waitress was rude and seemed to be more worried about talking to the boss or owner with her back to customers. The price for the quality of food and amount ordered was rediculous. The place literally just opened but there seemed to be no atmosphere. I had the pleasure of being served by a lovely young lady named Amy. The hospitality was outstanding, and the food was incredible. This is truly one of the classic spots in Terre Haute.
You may have passed by this restaurant several times without stopping in, but I highly recommend giving it a try. They offer a large menu, the staff is friendly, and the prices are reasonable with prompt service. While their exterior signage could use an update, the interior is clean and well-maintained.
The food here is exceptional and reasonably priced. The ambiance is warm and inviting. Did I mention how great the food is?
Love this place! It has a homey feel to it and the service is wonderful as well! My personal favorites are the breakfast skillets
Great little diner. Excellent service. Good service. Lots of options on the menu.
