What Michelle Voisin dislikes about L'excess:
a stop to oldzon on the holiday road, in search of a place for lunch, we found this brewery that announced on a table the dish of the day, rice with seafood. as everything seemed closed in the vicinity we chose for this Portuguese stop. Quick meal, served to the good franquette, copier plate. So 2 dishes of the day to 11,90 , 37.5 cl of red valençay (from country) to 8,90 and 2 coffee at all for 34.90. We could go on... Beer selection menu is good- lots of beers from local craft breweries, plus the standard stuff, so if you're looking to try some different this is a great

One cannot expect a lot of establishments open on Monday is the reason why we entered this restaurant service, despite a half-empty room, is relatively slow due to the barla menu service, composed of simple dishes, is limited but compensated by homemade dishes (including deserts) the decoration and furniture show signs of old age at the note, not too salty, it is acceptable in summary, an address

I came in for lunch while passing through by car. The set menu was reasonably priced at €15 for three courses, although I had two. An excellent starter of well mixed gazpacho which I enjoyed a lot. One small criticism too much cream mixed in. A matter of opinion but I agree with Spanish purism, gazpacho should not be too complicated. Main course was pork in cream sauce with vegetables. Again very well cooked and simply done. I nearly had desserts which were offered but I didn't want to pile on any more calories. A busy and popular place with a very busy young man who was apparently everywhere at once. They deserve the business. It was a good experience. A cut above the rest . Highly recommended.
