La Gondola Italian - Vientiane

Authentic Italian restaurant with wonderful food and amazing wine list with bottles that you will not find anywhere else in Southeast Asia. Delicious pasta, delicious meat, beautiful salads, the best place if you are looking for some good Italian food. There is also a nice guest house above the restaurant with everything you need. I beautiful green quiet corner near the center of the city. Very recommended.

Hidden location near Tat Dam. Owner is from Venezia and food is like his character, not luxurious, but as Italian flavor is completely included. Try when you came to Vientiane.

Spent 10 days in Vientiane and visited La Gondola every other day. Usually, when I travel, I eat locally. But when I was here, I have to say that the pig farm is undoubtedly the best I've ever eaten. I found that some of the simplest dishes were the most awesome.

Nice place, not easy to find, the food is very tasty and the Italian owner a nice person try out the salads as an appetizer and we ate several pastas (homemade) with different sauces. On the next trip to Vientiane we go back there.

Absolutely recommend the owner is wonderful and uber friendly and the food is divine. The gorgonzola sauce is to die for, I am in love I wish I could take this place with me!
