Prsut, weil er auch auf der Webseite so toll aussah,die Enttäuschung war sehr groß - der war nicht von der Keule sondern hat ausgesehen wie beim Billa geschnitten - so schmeckte er auch. Das Carpaccio v. Oktopus war eher ein "Amuse Geuille" so wenig war es.Detto der Oktopus v. Grill.Aber die Bavette mit schwarzem Trüffel war der Gipfel - war kein frischer, sondern eine Trüffelcreme die man besser auch beim Merkur kriegt, noch dazu eine "Pampe" vollkommen geschmacklos. Der kellner hat zwar nach meiner Kritik ein anderes Gericht offeriert, doch ist mir der Appetit gründlich vergangen.Schade, noch dazu bei diesen Preisen!

The chef really knows what he's doing out back and if you're looking for a fresh hand picked fish, this is the place to go. Prices are steep but very acceptable for what you receive.

But the seafood they offered was so fresh and well prepared and the noodles with truffels me and my fiancee shared as an appetizer were comparable to any high end restaurant! We were overwhelmed also because of the friendly and helpful staff, always there in the right moment! I can recommend Viento to everybody who loves fresh and tasty mediterranean food at reasonable prices! It is certainly among the best fish-restaurants in Vienna.
