Het hotel is op wandelafstand located van een tramstop, een vienna kaart is een aanrader. within 10 minutes sta je in het centrum.De kamers zijn ruim en proper,... read more Het hotel is op wandelafstand located van een tramstop, een vienna kaart is een aanrader. within 10 minutes sta je in het centrum.De kamers zijn ruim en proper, voorzien van alle luxe die nodig is.Het ontvangst bij check in door de dame was bij ons zeer koel en de uitleg dat wij kregen leek mij op een ingestudeerde standaardtekst. ook toen we sea inlichtingen vroegen aan hair over wenen kregen we een vlugge standaardtekst te horen. het ontbijt is zeer uitgebreid en lekker, maar ook here kan een glimlach of een goede tomorrow he bij het personeel niet af.Mijn besluit het is een goed maar zeer koel en zakelijk hotel.

When we were finally served, half an hour had passed since the two waiters had to supply a large group of travelers. the first floor of our 6-course tasting menu with wine-guiding was beef with salat, red bevel, pumpkin seeds and pumpkin seed oil. delicious and beautifully dressed. after that a carrot ginger soup, which was somewhat too obese and also came with a skin, as it was allowed to stand too long (the waiters were still busy with the travel group.) the next gang were penne al pesto alla genovese - the pasta was soft boiled, soaked in oil, nutmarchet, let alone pine nuts no trace, the basili the next course was a lime sorbet with frizzante and minze, good. afterwards grilled sea tufel fillet with two kinds =(yelber and red) paprikasaucen, tagliatelle and cirschtomaten. with the previous penne, this was a little too much pasta in the 6 courses. the seaweed was excellent, the sauces nothing special - something too unspoiled.As a dessert there was a huge portion of saltburger nockerl with berry roast, impeccable.The wine-begleitung was good, as aperitif there was prosecco, to dessert a dry-beer-readed, in between different white wines (a sati per gang,) all Austria the size of the portions and the fact that the menu was not too meat-loaded, as is often the case. when the travel group had gone, the service became better, but then we were also the only ones in the dining room (also not so cozy).

The strudlhof is a beautiful and quiet hotel in the city part asergrund. it takes min with tram line d or by bus to the city. the hotel is not cozy and is more... read more The strudlhof is a beautiful and quiet hotel in the city part asergrund. it takes min with tram line d or by bus to the city. the hotel is not cozy and is more for meetings and conferences, but the rooms are large and air conditioned. breakfast is good, but coffee is not recommended. at least on the floor not very fast. bathrooms are ok, but will need renovation in the near time.
