Schimanszky - Vienna

The Restaurant Waldgashof Schimanszky is a very nice restaurant located in the village Berndorf  lower Austria. Very nice interiors in the downtown with fine food, very well cooked, expensive but very delicious, staff, actually ownwe are nice, excellent service

We came here because of Tripadvisor and never regret to have dinner here. Austrian food with excellent taste and great service. We came back on the next day with our other friends and they are so happy to taste the amazing food here. Their soup,...salad, schnitzel, beef stroganof and steak are amazing. Will come back if we visit Vienna.

Wow! Wow! We really had great time. Although it was Valentine’s Day, the place was full and the service was amazing. Beautiful dishes, worm spirit.

Easy to find, the restaurant is only a street away from the Ringstrasse. To get there from central Vienna, you have to walk past Jamie's kitchen keep walking, it's worth it. Nice appetisers, good charcuterie, the main courses were well cooked and well presented...and the accompaniments well thought out each dish has its own side, so it's not a one size fits all' kind of place. We couldn't manage dessert... The staff were considerate and friendly. We loved it.

We were families with small kids under the place was silent, food was exceptional from starter to desert, however not to family friendly. The waitress was a bit deranged by the fact that the kids could be noisy, there was only high...chair and it was slighy broken. Good food quality and presentation and the prices were quite reasonable for the quality. Not many choices though, but anything you choose is fresh and tasty as hell! We almost licked the plates lol (joking, just ordered another plate). Perfect for romantic couples though!
