On a Saturday night I attended an organized event held in the lobb... read more This is a review of the hotel lobby and bar, as I have not taken accommodation in this hotel. On a Saturday night I attended an organized event held in the lobby and bar area of this hotel. The staff I interacted with (bartender) was friendly and professional. The location has a homey design with a retro twist. Lighting was fine (not too intense or too bright lights) and music was soft in the background. I especially liked the fact that a few tables were settled in alcoves in the wall and were surrounded by comfortable benches on one side, which offered some privacy and made the experience of sitting there cozy and intimate. I had one herb tea which was really good, served in a large glass and with plenty of honey on the side. One downside of the place is that it is card-only, so you cannot pay cash no matter how small the amount.

The breakfast is great, the stuff is super friendly. They have a cozy bar-cafe space. We wanted to give special thanks to Maxi, a guy working at the reception for supporting us in a tough situation when Agoda-Priceline did a mistake in our booking. Do not use these platforms, because they will fail you, go directly to the hotel website to make sure your vacation goes smoothly.

The hotel bar is very accommodating. There was always staff available to answer my questions to include local recommendations. Prime location!! Quick commute to plenty of restaurants, the mall, CAT/train station, and more.

The shower is a... read more Great location and a very cool/modern hotel. The room is a good size and clean. Cleanliness is important to me and Ruby Sofie didn't disappoint. The shower is amazing. The bar/cafe is very nice and I do recommend to check out the library area for a chilled out atmosphere. Only two slightly negative points. The water does sometimes go into the toilet but you can ask for more towels to dry it. There is only one lift for everyone staying. Overall an amazing stay and I do recommend.
