Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2 Service: Take out Meal type: Lunch Price per person: €10–20 Recommended dishes: Pierogie

So, was to begin. the location is cute, simple and clean- nothing to add. the pierogi as such, good- the meat and the potato/cheese are quite traditional in taste. yes, they could discuss the thick of the teig when they have them in polen)....The mozzarela is good. cousous and spinat and sour wort are too overwhelming with seasoning as to our taste. we also tried the sweet ones, and unfortunately we were kidnapped. too many flavors and too hard in consistency. it reminded us of the austrian poppy and nut filling they get for christmas. However, the service and communication capability is more to improve, especially we had problems to understand the menu. since we wanted to order 10 pierogi for 11 euro, it is also shown on their menu) we were told that we can not choose 7 savory and 3 sweet, but only 6 savory and 4 sweet. we thought this was a little strange, but at the end we wanted to try the sweet ones, why not. the biggest surprise was that we were charged 1 euro extra in this case. we tried to clearyfy that it could be useful to show that in the menu before, as we think it is not quite ok. Yes, the worker has forwarded the feedback to the owner, but the owner has not tried to explain in this situation/or appoligize or something. therefore it spoiled a bit the whole experience and the memory.

I come from polen and I love pieogi very much. I have eaten and made (my mother and grandmother tamed me like when I was still a teenager) many of them in my life (with different types of filling.) and if they were the. real try I would not regain this place. Although the fiiling of pierogi is quite ok, it is not only because in the case of this special food. as important is the diligent and its strengthening. it should be quite thin (especially with the fruit filled) and flexible, in contrast in this device will have its pierogi hard, dry and very thick layer of the teig. it seems they are prefabricated and frozen, which forces thicker teig layer. I also freeze them when I make too many, so I know that it is not necessary to go so far with the thick, and to be honest for such small portions they are overpriced. especially for a meal that is not made to order. if they live in how, then they might have found a polishing shop and try to some of them I am sure they will be better. I personally do not buy them I prefer to spend some time in the kitchen and make them myself, I decided to try them as I found this really great review on tripadvisor, and now after the attempt, I think they are totally misleading, and although rarely write reviews, this time I decided to enter. I just don't want anyone to be discouraged from this place. if properly done, they can simply be great! if they go there and still like it its fine, but please don't consider it as a typical polish pierogi taste and experience. I'm sure I'm not going back there.

Love it naechstes mal bittr mehr salz <3 bye friends ur the brst 5ever and ever best returanttttttt

Absolutely outstandingly delicious Peirogis! They are so full of flavor! Get the onions and bacon poured over the top, yum! This tiny little place, just up the street from the historic Maria am Gestade church, is a great place for lunch on a week day...(closed on weekends). The homemade Peirogis are the best I have ever had! You order at the counter, choosing from a selection, how many you'd like and it is served with a small salad and sour cream on the side. The prices are reasonable and the food healthy and fresh. Other things on the menu include salads, soups, and small open face sandwiches (I know these have a name... please forgive my poor memory). There are only about 4 tables, but people don't stay long, so worth it if you might have to wait a short while for a table.
