I found a hidden jewel. Take the Surprise menu that you will not be disappointed and pampered. Best meals I had in a long time perfectly seasoned. Excellent wines, a perfect waiter with Austrian charm and a great cook.
Duspara has a very simple menu to understand and you are not divided by choice, which makes it easy to decide on your lunch menu. On the day I went, they offered 2 types of pasta (a chicken and a fish) with a vegetable soup as a duck. I wanted more. I would recommend to keep a table as it is a small restaurant. But the food is great!
We were skeptical at first. The cook worked in Steirereck, but decided to open his own restaurant and bring gourmet food for people. We have accepted our waiter's offer of 4 gear menu for a very reasonable price (which was mentioned in one of the comments here the surprise menu of the cook), and accompanied it with two glasses of wines white red according to its recommendations. The first dish looked gorgeous, It were pieces of roasted meat with fish mouse, the presentation was wonderful and the taste followed accordingly. The combination with the paved horse-radik (cren) was precise, and the parsley powder above gave the dish the last touch. Next was Oktopus truffle soup, which I think was the best dish in the meal. The aromas mixed in the perfect way can be imagined, including the hard truffles that are often added to a dish only to mark it as expensive/high quality dish. This time the mixture of truffle was exactly as it should be, and gave the dish the special taste. The octopus pieces were soft and delicate as you could easily cut it with your spoon. Absolutely excellent. The main dish was duck breast (Ente), accompanied by puree of mustard potatoes, steamed vegetables and a cake such as piece with grilled cheese above. The duck was again delicate and tasty, and the combination with the special purity was simply heavenly. The desert we got was cream brulee accompanied by a sorbet and forest fruits. Overall, dinner was absolutely delicious, and the prices were reasonable. I have no doubt we will eat there as often as possible. Note that booking a table in advance is an absolute must.
