There is a wide range of newspape... read more The Cafe Florianihof is very pleasant. The staff is friendly. We had breakfast and lunch there and were happy with both times. There is a wide range of newspapers and magazines (de rigueur for a Viennese café) . You can't go wrong.

The waiters are always friendly and fast in service, the smoking area is well removed at the back, so that you do not grill immediately when entering the premises and there is a wide selection of international newspapers and magazines. All in all a very relaxed atmosphere and light and airy atmosphere. In summer there is an outdoor seat on the walkway in front of the café, but since the street is not particularly busy, you are not too many fumes breathing. I've only ever eaten small dishes, but they were of good quality. If you are on the market for something sweet, I can recommend the Powidltascherln or Potenknödel.
