It will take a miracle to let someone pay attention to you. The food took forever to come. And I had literary to beg to get the English menu. Very direct seating and table and the traditional food is mediocre and lacks variety. There are way better options than this one for a classic Viennese breakfast. The sandwiches were made with soft and fres... read more A very nice and cozy cafe. I ordered a Viennese coffee Melange and cheese sandwiches. The coffee is very very tasty. The sandwiches were made with soft and fresh full grain (vollkorn) bread, butter and Gouda cheese. They were amazing! My friend ordered an apple strudel with warm vanilla sauce. It was delicious. Recommend this place!

The service is back to normal, the place is of course still nice and it is one of the few original Viennese Cafes that's left. But the best part, and this alone is worth 5 stars, is the Kaiserschmarrn. The best in Vienna and therefore the best in the world. A godsend. Chapeaux ladies and gentlemen. Eat it or you haven't lived.
