Because the weather was great, we ended up at a table in the garden in front of the restaurant. Besides the good beer, we ended up with a small meal. I tried the goulash and bun. I can only recommend it. It 's not haute cuisine, just a good local restaurant. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: €10–20

We missed the lunch specialties, but the dinner menu had a large selection and local dishes not found in other restaurants we tried. Friendly service and a menu in English made this a great choice.

I tried the gulaschsuppe , t... read more I went three times during my stay in Vienna, because it was closed to the apartment I stayed and because it serve very good dishes. I tried the gulaschsuppe , the frittatensuppe and the famous wiener schnitzel (big size!! always together with a good bier and I totally loved it. Can 't wait to come back next time.

There is an excellent selection of draft beer and an inexpensive lunch special (choice of two, one of which is vegetarian) each day. The goulash is very good. I have not tried their burgers, so cannot comment on them. Friday is fish day, with excellent fish and chips.

This place had a nice outdoor... read more After a big lunch we didn't feel like a full sit-down dinner. We wandered the Margaretenstrasse area looking for something casual. This place had a nice outdoor seating area and a menu featuring burgers and other items. The burgers seemed larger than the advertised 200g and were fresh and tasty. The French fries were on the good side of adequate. We sampled three different beers and enjoyed each. The price was very reasonable, something like 9 Euro for cheeseburger and fries and 4.20 for 500 ml draft beer. I was very pleased with our decision to eat here.
