I had a Sopa de Cação, a very typical dish from the region and was amazing. My family had a normal steak with potatoes and egg. Very good quality and reasonable priced. Seems to be the best restaurant in town. Would go back again.
We arrived at gone 3pm and the place was very quiet, however we liked the feel of the restaurant. The menu is all in Portuguese and no English is spoken. However we managed to figure out the difference between meat and fish! The owner kindly bought the raw produce out of the kitchen so we could make our selections. We had a grilled veal steak and grilled fish. Both were excellent. The bill with a drink each was around €-5 so great value as well.
Often seems to be full for lunch, especially Mondays. Book. I don't like having to phone up and book, but I make an exception here because it's excellent food in a pleasing atmosphere and very good value. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: €15–20 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5
