What annie Mabilat doesn't like about The Pendray Restaurant at the Gatsby:
I had high hopes for my experience at this restaurant. The cozy cottage aesthetic reminded me of something out of the Cotswolds, and I was expecting a peaceful and intimate atmosphere, akin to being in an English garden. However, upon arrival, our reservation was overlooked and we felt unwelcome and ignored. The host seemed disorganized and understaffed, rushing us to a less desirable table. Took my daughter for her first high tea and we had a great experience. Appreciated that they have a kid’s tea menu. Very charming old building. Service and food was good. Nice selection of tea. Overall better value than the Empress. View all feedback.

read moreThe Huntington Manor is a charming venue located in the historic Huntingdon Hotel. The restaurant offers a delightful high tea experience with a nice selection of teas and delicious food options. Despite some mixed reviews regarding service and the atmosphere, many visitors praise the beautiful building and great presentation of the meals. It is noted that the traditional afternoon tea is recommended for its value, while the West Coast afternoon tea menu is slightly more expensive but offers a similar experience. Overall, the Huntington Manor is considered a cozy spot with attentive staff and tasty food choices, making it a great destination for those looking to enjoy a lovely afternoon tea in Victoria.
Excellent service and a unique atmosphere that provide you with the incredible experience of an afternoon tea in the best Victorian style.
Had a very nice afternoon tea. Yummy scones with cream and jam.
