Overall, Boom Batten's dedication to improvement, diverse menu, and beautiful ambiance make it a worthwhile visit for those seeking a memorable dining experience.
Very good vegan pizza. the pizza cook was an incredibly friendly guy and offered to make any pizza vegan. there were not many vegan options on the menu different. everything was clearly marked. updated by previous review on 2021-11-20
That was my first visit to be asked boom and I was so happy with everything. the service was great, the food was excellent, the plan was beautiful. during the dine Around program of our city (menu for a specific price) this was the ideal time to try a place I wanted for a one. we sat at a table with views of the water and that set the ton for the evening. Beautiful vegan options on the menu and the server was knowledgeable and friendly.
A whole vegan menu with a lot of options such as pizza, vegetable dishes, salads and pastas. We had the carrot dish as an appetizer that was excellent, came with a delicious sauce. for the main I had the “macaroni and broccoli” this was delicious with a few different vegan cheese and a lot of sweet. far away from boring. for dessert I had the avocado chocolate mousse that hit the place. the atmosphere in the restaurant was alive, with a dj and a bar. the waiter was as attentive as they would get in a high-end restaurant. great food and great experience. my fiancée eating meat also enjoyed being a lot of food.
It is a beautiful location on the water with a beautiful view of victoria. they need to ask for an extra vegan / vegetarian / gluten free menu, but they have some options. I ordered a delicious vegan pizza with kale, squash, pesto and cashew mozarella and shared a mixture of three small desserts. the food didn't take too long and the waitress was super nice. the only negatif aspekte that I can say are the fact that the prices are not super low (but they also get good food quality) and the music was somewhat too loud.
I went to try out Boom Batten a few weeks ago and plan on going back really soon. I went at an odd hour, so I didn't need a reservation. The restaurant has a vegan menu and what we ordered was very nicely plated and very tasty. Coffee was also really good with a few options for the milk alternative. Looking forward to trying other items on the menu. Literally a floating gem, right on the Songhees walkway. Worth a visit and a repeat visit or two!
