Food is great, but when we sat down at the bar area, the bar was covered in food crumbs and spills. The server actually ASKED us if we wanted the table wiped down. I would have thought that was a given. (She didn't wipe it down in the end). We ordered the food, and after it came, we had to ask for napkins and cutlery. What Kaitlyn Kemmer doesn't like about White Spot:
had only one command of kabeljau and chips. the cod was cooked twice to make the fish hard and chewing, it was also burned. have always ordered from this white spot. maybe time for a new cook, eating will always be worse with rejection. they would never serve that in their restaurant, so it should not be served in an exit order. I took my 83-year-old mother to lunch. the personal was very pleasant and cheerful. the restaurant is quiet, equipped with loud music and the available tables are divided according to Kovid protocol. great eating, perfect serving. will be going back
Great food. excellent service. our waitress was great. the fish and chips were delicious!
Ordered through Door Dash, our food was delivered within its timeframe so I have no concern that has anything to do with it but both burger patties were hard, I could not even eat half of mine before I threw it out. Caesar salad had brown wilted lettuce and the zoo sticks were ok ish!! For the money spent I am very disappointment AND we had to order more food as a result ... no bueno White Spot!! Side note I only gave the 1 start because I HAD to, to be able to post this!!
I came here about 2 weeks ago for breakfast. It was later in the morning. I have had White Spot breakfast before and love it! Their smash browns are delicious!!!! Love how it's unlimited too!! So I come, got greeted in a friendly manner. They show us to our table. We waited for some time for our server to come and take our order. It's been at least 10 minutes, and still no server. Finally someone that is serving a big group noticed we weren't looked after. So she takes our drink order and goes to get them. She apologized for the lack of service and went off to look for someone to help us out. She still apologizes for no one showing up yet. Finally our server arrives, she also apologizes too. Takes our order. Then the food comes out hot and yummy!I gave 5 stars because there was only, 3 I believe waitresses in the whole building serving all the people that arrived. Plus the hostess. It started to pick up for lunch. The waitresses served us at least, with a smile on their face no matter how much stress they had that morning. They were very friendly. Whenever they seen us she would check in. For sure recommend this White Spot. Eggs Benny ?
Last visit here was 5 years ago and was for supper for a larger group. This time we were a couple and an elderly friend (all of us are over 65), for brunch. My spouse wanted a salad, so chose the buttermilk chicken Cobb salad which is consistently good. The friend and I both had the eggs Benedict. The sauce was very runny and not very tasty, but otherwise good. Service was efficient and friendly and Covid protocols followed. We do understand that things are more difficult now for all service industries but have not had a bad experience at this chain, in various locations, so far.
