The handcrafted pierogies are a standout, with options for everyone including vegans. The service may be a bit slow, but adds to the experience. Cocktails are creative and tasty, with the option to support humanitarian efforts through the special "The Resistance" dish. Overall, a must-visit spot in Victoria for foodies and those looking for a unique dining experience. Don't miss out on this gem for a delicious meal and great service.
I ordered the two types of vegan pierogies available, the mushroom risotto (truffle kerfufle) and vegan kimchi (uncle roger) with fries and Museo Pilz-Grotte and one side of the veg. quite different. both are very tasty, with oncle rusty spicy. I had to get back to the stuff because neither kartoffel. the traditional type of pierogi had them were good, and I am sure they would be better if they eat in the restaurant instead of home. would be nice if there were at least one vegan potato, but I hear that they could work with them in the restaurant. something that is not possible with online delivery. not all posted menu items are available for delivery.
Friends of ours recommended this place and it did not disappoint. I had the How the West was Won pierogies and had a few of every filling. The kicker was the crumbled BACON underneath!Yum! Shoulda ordered more! Decent selection of Bomber beer/ales. Atmosphere was good, and i'm going to steal the chain holding artwork idea
Not sure why this person below says machine made when you can actually see the chef's hand making them. It is an open kitchen view from the bar area or take a peek in the side door. great food, maybe not traditional like Nana made them but they still kick serious you know what and a FAR more interesting than the traditional ones (which I love too btw)
We visited sult and tried those perogies and found out that the pierogies for poutine are actually deep fried, tasteless and look like machine production not handcraft as website advertised never go back
We stopped in for a late dinner on a Friday night. The place was not too busy and we were able to find a table straight away. Our server was very friendly and patient with the questions we had about the menu. We ordered the "how the west was won" plate which is 9 pierogis w/ 3 different flavors and served with their bacon braised bacon which is AMAZINGLY tasty. We got the buffalo, yukon gold and cheeseburger pierogis and they were all very tasty. We also ordered the sausage sampler and they were tasty as well served with a dijon dipping sauce.
