I always love coming here. The owners are friendly. The setting is not pretentious. The food very good. Reasonable prices. I come here because it's not a chain. The location is fun. The food is obviously researched for uniqueness. Can't think of any negatives other than it can be quite cool on cold days but that happens in Victoria. Popped in late pm on a sunday after arriving in Victoria. Greeted by a lovely waitress good local beer . I had the chilli which was perfectly spiced added some home made hot sauce . Beware the Jalepeno on the side .
Wasn’t quite sure what to expect or what we wanted on a late Sunday morning. But whatever we were thinking, the end result exceeded our expectations. The “sopa” was very hearty, almost like a chili. And perfectly spiced for my tastes. The salad was similarly a surprise and thoroughly enjoyable. Sadly not open for dinners.
