Ricky's All Day Grill - Victoria

I had a great experience at this restaurant. The food is of high quality, especially the Prime rib which was fantastic and a great deal on weekends. The chicken tenders are exceptional - a special touch. However, I wouldn't recommend ordering the dry wings as they were quite dry. The staff are friendly and pleasant, and overall the food is of good quality and reasonably priced. Definitely worth a visit.

Ricky's in Nanaimo was delicious so we thought we would go for supper on Sunday to the Ricky's in Victoria. Only a few people in the restaurant so we were seated right away. Ordered the radical burger with tumble weed fries. My husband and son both ordered the wings and chicken finger combo, one with fries and one with tumble weed chips. Order came to the table after 30 minutes. Burger was cold and the both tumble weed chips were so crispy they crumbled to the touch. You couldn't eat them so we had to send them back. Was going to send the burger back also but we had already waited 30 mins and wasn't about to wait again. I didn't bother eating the burger, just ate the bacon. The chicken wings were covered in so much sauce that my son and husband had to wipe it off before they could eat the wings. My husband said that the wings would be better coming from a box at the grocery store. Chicken fingers were ok. Service was so so. Waitress came to the table and said how was the meal and I said not good. She said do you want to take your burger home and I told her no it was cold and thats why I didn't eat it. She said ok, and brought the bill. I wasn't looking for free but you think she would of taken the burger off the bill. Won't ever go back to this Ricky's but will continue going to the Nanaimo and Courtenay Ricky's!

We visited the Ricky's in Nanaimo in the summer and loved it! I had the Prime Rib dinner, and it was so good that we went back the next night (and brought our entire swim team with us) to have it again. The service was outstanding. It was because of that wonderful experience, that we decided to try the one in Victoria out last night. Right from the start I was disappointed. The restaurant was freezing cold. All of us were uncomfortable. I ordered the Prime Rib dinner and it was HORRIBLE! The Yorkshire Pudding was cold, the mashed potatoes tasted like terrible boxed potatoes, and I did not like the vegetables. The entire plate was also covered with a bad gravy. The servers were very kind, and tried to get me a new meal but unfortunately it was the same. My daughter also did not like her chicken fingers, and my husband was extremely disappointed with the ribs! The food quality here is terrible! I would not go back!

Ricky's has dependably reasonable eggs Benedict . We arrived just before the Sunday crowd hit. Service was confusing and delayed But the staff were amazingly caring and good natured. They gave out free Bailey shots!

First time here with my friend and her small son (who are regulars btw), decided to order some brunch, as I skipped breakfast that morning, ordered the traditional, bacon, eggs, toast and hashbrowns, waitress took our order, I decided to go wash my hands before we eat, go into the ladies washroom...horrible, horrible..mess..paper towels everywhere, ground needed to be swept, floor wet, I go into a stall and I cant even describe what I saw it was so disgusting. I was afraid to touch anything I just got the Hell out of there, feeling disgusted i go back to my table, sort of lost my appetite, but still willing to eat, few minutes later, food arrives, and I have been given some sort of eggs and seafood concoction, I told the waitress this is not what I ordered, she asked me if i was "sure", I said yes I'm sure, By this time I'm very annoyed, I feel gross just sitting in that place, barely ate, didn't tip, just paid and got the hell out of there. never been back since. In fact, I think that place shut down.
