This diner is a lovely, casual spot with a welcoming atmosphere. They serve generous portions of delicious food at a reasonable price. While their vegan options were limited, the tofu hash was exceptional. The crispy potatoes and crispy speck were standout dishes. My only regret was not trying the mahoney, which gives me a reason to come back to Canada in the future. View all feedback.

The staff scolds you if you don't line up properly outside. Come in to ask a question? Get scolded. Don't line up in the correct spot outside? Get scolded. And the written instructions posted outside weren't real clear. Bottom line is that all the scolding took the fun out of the experience. Geeze folks, this is Victoria, one of the most foodie and friendly places in the world. You can do way better than this. Go els... View all feedback.
I tried the vegetarian hash... it tasted good. The salsa was really yummy. The potatoes were crispy. The rest of the food : poutine and the lumberjack was tasty too. The food was fresh and the portion was good for 2. They also have bottomless coffeefor 4.25.. The staff was friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this diner. They serve all day breakfast and lunch. The waittime for a table was 10 minutes. Street parking available.
We had a nice warm welcoming dining experience at this restaurant. Servers were very friendly and attentive. They made our kids happy with their cheerful conversations. Food was good and plenty. We ate and ate, and barely managed to finish everything, eventhough we wanted to eat more and more. There?s always a queue to enter but it goes fast, so it?s alright to wait a bit. Also, food is good and generous portioning, so it?s all worth it. One can order drinks while waiting in the queue and be servedoutside while waiting to be seated in. So that?s nice. Overall, a good dining experience.

I stumbled upon this restaurant and what a delightful surprise it was. It was a cozy spot and we were greeted warmly right away. After a brief wait (which was well worth it), we were served by a very friendly waitress. We ordered the chicken and waffles and a BC breakfast bowl (I believe that was the name). The breakfast was fresh and delicious. If we lived closer, we would definitely come back weekly to explore the extensive menu further.
I enjoyed dining at this restaurant. The service was excellent, and I loved watching the birds bathe in rainwater on the roof. The food was delicious.
