The friendly staff and funky decor create a welcoming atmosphere, making it a great spot for visitors and locals alike. Despite some minor issues with orders, the quality of the food shines through. From tasty sandwiches to creative charcuterie boards, Picnic delivers on flavor and presentation. With a diverse menu, cozy vibes, and great service, Picnic is a top choice for a satisfying meal in downtown Victoria.
There are a few vegan options available, as well as the possibility to customize dishes to make them vegan. My favorite dish is the Peanut Curry Wrap. Both the lunch menu and brunch menu are served all day.
I had the vegan breakfast sandwich priced at $11 and it was a generous portion. I decided not to order drinks because the $1.50 extra charge for plant milk was the highest I have ever encountered. The interior is contemporary and tidy, with a laid-back atmosphere. There are different seating options available, from booths to bar stools. It is a great spot for a fast meal or drink in the morning or for brunch. The majority of the beverages on the menu are made with locally-sourced ingredients.
I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of vegan options at Picnic. Our server was genuinely friendly. Although the food was a bit expensive for the amount we received, it ended up being more filling than we expected. I ordered the vegan hash and was satisfied with the portion size.
Fresh, healthier options at the edge of downtown. Different bowls, wraps and breakfasts Tasty but a bit pricey for what you get in my opinion. Definitely a nice option though. The peanut, yam wrap was tasty with fresh ingredients.
Was pleasantly surprised by all vegan options on picnic and our server was really friendly! The food was a bit expensive for the portion size, but it ended up more than we expected (I had the vegan hash).
