We had the tasting menu that was available the night we were there and it was absolutely fantastic. All four courses were delicious and the wine pairings were perfect. View all feedback.
We were fortunate to secure a reservation for our last dinner. The restaurant is 2 minutes from our Hotel. A very open, airy, attractive dining room. We were greeted by an outgoing, smiling host and were taken to a great booth. The restaurant was full. Our waitress couldn't have been nicer or more attentive and looking around others were having a great time. The food was amazing both in taste and presentation. We started witht he tomato soup. The bowl looked like a picture before the soup was poured into the bowl. We also had the Farm salad with Kale chips. Fresh, fresh, fresh ingredients and a great lemon thyme vinaigrette. House baked bread came next. Our entrees were the Gnocchi with house cured prosciutto, cherry tomatoes, green beans and crispy leeks, Linguini with Halibut, salmon, shrimp, clams, mussels and octopus. Almost licked the plates!Finished up with a Panna cotta with caramel brown sugar cookie and Jamaican Blue Mountain French Press coffee. Haven't had Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee for years. What a way to end our vacation. Great servie and Wonderful food.
Reasonable prices, great service, delicious food. Since they use local ingredients the menu changes frequently but we are sure you won't go wrong. Outdoor seating with heaters and centrally located in down town Victoria.

As a rare breeds farmer, I am always attracted to farm to table restaurants. The organic produce was exceptional as was the Ossabaw prosciutto. The BC wines we chose with the help of the sommelier, were great. I was disappointed that the staff and kitchen did not know what breed of chicken was being served. That lack of knowledge made me question how close the connection between the farm and table really is. A little staff training or staff visits to the farm are critical to satisfy this locavore. They would have gotten an excellent rating had this piece been in place.
