Olive Grove Restaurant - Victoria

Service was very prompt and polite. Atmosphere is dated but quaint. Food was not good. We each ordered a pasta dish and greek salad. It was served with bread and a red wine vinegar olive oil dip. The greek salad had unrippened, tasteless vegetables and salad dressing. The bread was burnt on the bottom and tasteless. The pasta was just awful and after a few bites we just decided to leave. Would never return a horrible meal. An expensive mistake we will never make again.

A hidden treasure, locals' favorite, best Greek food I have ever had outside of Greece. One of my favorite and most often visited places for both lunch and dinner. The meals have generous portion. Must try roast lamb platter for dinner (best value), and moussaka, calamari, and spinach pie meals for lunch. Pita included in all the meals is just super-delicious!

I recently returned for dinner at the Olive Grove after a 2 year hiatus after being underwhelmed previously. I was attending with a group of 9 friends so I hadn't chosen the location. After being seated near the patio but still indoors, our server was attentive and promptly took our drink orders as we waited forthe rest to arrive. We all ordered off the menu, and array of Greek dishes and pasta. I ordered Spanikopita and the portion was huge! Perfectly served, with lots of sides including Greek salad, potatoes and veggies. Others ordered the kalamari, chicken, salad and 2 people shared the platter for 2 that was the envy of the table. No one had room for dessert and most of us took leftovers home. We literally closed the place down, last to leave but never rushed. I dont know if its new management, didnt recognize the staff from my prior visits but i can't wait to go back!!

I have been here for lunch a few times now and have never been disappointed. The food is always good. I have had the calamari lunch meal and also the mousaka lunch entre. Also the pita wraps are good. A nice place to have lunch.

The food was very average Mediterranean. Beer on tap was good along with a reasonable variety of wines. Staff were young and not overly charming. We probably would not return.
