Not often can you find an Indian restaurant with a full buffet for dinner. The food was out of the world, the people on top of it, and we (as usual at a buffet) over ate. And loved every moment. View all feedback.
What Brent Dickinson doesn't like about New Asian Village:
You could order from the menu, which may have been better, but we were in a hurry and the buffet was pretty good value. The food was okay but not exceptional. Wait staff were very good View all feedback.
We were taken there by a couple who had been there often. They knew I was fussy but had no qualms about recommending the New Asian Village to me! We shall be taking two other couples with us on Friday evening - and they are...More
We just ordered a salad and chicken Biryani. The taste was good and you are able to choose the spicy in it. It is so good for non indian that are not happy with so hot and spicy taste.I also ordered a bread named; "Protha". They provided it but not exactly as I tried it overseas lots of time but, the taste was good. The only concern was the price for bread. I found I was charged $5 for each small bread that is so high for a small bread in indian restaurant. Actually, bread is one of the basic and cheapest indian food service.
We ended up here after trying to get our group of 7 in at a couple of other places. They treated us well and we enjoyed our meal. I had the chicken kebab and ordered in medium spicy. It had some real heat, but was well cooked. Overall, I would go back!
Wanting to feed hungry teenagers we opted for the buffet. This was as others have mentioned rather Skywalker ( as in Luke warm at best). The choice of meat dishes was limited with the usual offering of butter chicken designed for the milder pallet. Nothing was truly spicy hot but guess this is just catering to local taste. The service was poor. Dirty plates not collected, no visits from serving staff to see if drinks need topping up. Manager seemed busy talking to a table of friends though was a friendly enough guy.On reflection I think we would have done better letting the kids buffet and ordering from the menu. That said I shan't be rushing back I'm afraid.
We really didn't know what to expect at this restaurant as the name suggests a mixture of different asian cultures. It is delicious Indian cuisine. All the dishes we ordered were good and although the server knew the dishes well, did not remove the empty dishes from our table, making the table really crowded. However, server was very pleasant.I would recommend this restaurant
