Lee's House - Victoria

Always order the same food when we come here for a quick bite. Noodle soup with chicken/pork cutlet, the cutlet s are tasty, but on the salty side and the chicken seems to melt in the mouth. My husband has an inexplicable weakness for the pork sauce noodle, hasn't yet tried anything else. The dish comes with meaty ground pork sauce and juliennes of cucumbers, tasty and filling. Their pork dumplings are freshly homemade, nice dough and juicy. The Bao with the crispy chicken comes with a Chinese bun, is tasty , but a bit expensive.

Been there a few times now and I thinks it's one of the best Chinese places around Victoria. The menu is quite diverse, service is great and for a neighbourhood type of place is the place to go.

Went with my wife, she was nearly finished her dish before mine was even served. Spring roll was tasteless, mostly shredded cabbage, beef and broccoli was extremely salty (and I like salty), finally almond chicken was covered in half uncooked batter and completely tasteless. I will not go back.

I'm giving Lee's four stars because they have they boba/tapioca/pearl drinksFor those of us near UVic, the drinks are much better than rival Yang Yang.

This food is horrible over the 100 items on the menu I had asked for the rice curry dish they explained that it was spicy i asked for extra spicy.
