Contribute FeedbackJonathan's restaurant, located in the Royal Scot Hotel, offers indoor and courtyard seating. While some diners found the Christmas dinner mediocre with disappointing desserts, others praised the excellent menu, service, and a quiet atmosphere. The breakfast was a hit with a good selection and friendly staff. However, there were complaints about raw eggs and rude waitstaff on separate occasions. Overall, Jonathan's is recommended for a reasonably priced and enjoyable dining experience, especially if staying at the Royal Scot Hotel or nearby. Give it a try for a quiet and quaint meal close to popular attractions.
Nice service. Terrible food. Had a Mushroom 'Crepe ' and fried potatoes. Awful -probably cooked a few days ago.
Terrible overpriced food. I ordered a club sandwich. Cold toast, skimpy yellow lettuce, unripe tomatoes, dubious turkey, hard chunky bacon and greasy fries that looked as though they were leftovers.
Had breakfast here a few days ago. Service is limited due to staff shortage. One server. But breakfast orders were good hearty fare. I would go back
Hopefully it was a 'Monday for this restuarant! The service was slow! Coffee below average Its next door to a super hotel but doesnt match the level expected after spending a good night and hoping for a great day of site seeing!
The pancakes didn't have a good texture and you had to look for the blueberries. The coffee was brown. The chicken pancake dish was overcooked.
