We have been visiting JBI for years, on a weekly basis when the Sunday Night Football season is in play. Its definitely a pub where many of the faces are the same locals who come daily or weekly. They make possibly the best dry ribs in town. Prices are reasonable. The serving staff (whom we have also known for years) have our table at the ready and the bar tender always know what drinks we want to start with. Parking... View all feedback.
What Dana Spoelstra doesn't like about James Bay Inn Pub:
Unfortunately we experienced an extremely rude waitress that caused us to get up and walk out. After six adults spent $1K staying at the attached Inn we were harassed from the moment we tried to sit for lunch. Her poor tone and attitude at several ofour party members was crazy considering we were a quiet and respectful group. Good little breakfast. There was only one cook on sunday which made the waiting time a little longer. The staff were extremely welcoming.

Had a great time. The alcohol prices were so reasonable. The service was awesome. The food was really good. The fries were hot and delicious. I had the BLT but in a wrap. It was a little small but tasty. We plan to back in a couple weeks for brunch! My Mom loves waffles. This will probably be my and husband’s go to place. The prices for alcohol are so good. Every where we’ve been lately is pricey I don’t drink. My hubby and mom have a beer on tap which is ok. Anyway I’d say give it a try. We had a very nice time.
We've been coming here for years and the food and service have always been great. Like everywhere else, they have been faced by increased prices, and so you can expect some increases. This has happened but some of the increases have been OTT! The stir fry used to be $16? and is now $20, a 25% increase. If you wanted chicken added, the $6 extra is now a mind boggling $10! I don't know how much the fish and chips used to be , but now a single piece and chips is $23, two piece and chips is $28, but an extra piece is $15! What!

Parking can get filled pretty quick as this is also an Inn, although most of the locals walk in. It can get a bit noisy. The on tap beer selection highlights products from a couple of the local breweries (Hoynes, Lighthouse). The specific taps are OK, but I personally don't think they highlight the best the breweries have to offer.
