The coffee in Victoria is truly outstanding. The level of attention to detail is remarkable, regardless of what you choose. It's also a fantastic place to purchase beans to take home!
Hey Happy! is tucked away in Market Square, overlooking Johnson Street. You might overlook it initially because there aren't any large signs out front. However, the concise menu suggests they have a clear focus on quality. Although the selection isn't extensive, it is enticing. I tried their egg sandwich alongside a mocha, and my total came to just over $23, including tips. The mocha was wonderfully smooth, with a delightful mix of dark chocolate, milk, and espresso, and the sandwich was just right. I highly recommend this place!
I had a fantastic breakfast at this restaurant. I was happy just to walk in, read the menu, and try the hummus toast topped with falafel and egg. I also couldn't resist trying the rhubarb pop tart—of course! I discovered an excellent Rwandan coffee as well. The service was helpful and friendly, and I really loved the café itself. Well done, and the music was great too!
I had an amazing breakfast at Hey Happy, which I stumbled upon while walking by. I couldn’t resist trying the hummus toast with falafel and the eggs. I also indulged in a rhubarb pop tart, because why not? I was pleasantly surprised by their excellent Rwandan coffee too. The service was friendly and helpful, and I really loved the café's atmosphere. It was well-designed and had great music playing.
I give a perfect 5/5 rating for their coffee, baked goods, and overall atmosphere. The chocolate chip cookie is wonderfully soft and fudgy, with a sprinkle of salt that elevates it to another level—definitely a must-try. The chocolate cruller paired with the London Fog strikes a perfect balance between salty caramel, sweet chocolate, and tea flavors. I highly recommend it! As for the honey latte, it has a subtle yet distinct honey flavor that I really enjoyed—smooth and delightful. The oat milk latte has a lovely, fragrant oat taste, but I still preferred the honey latte overall.
