Been going here off and on for years. Note often they will not accept DQ corporate coupons. Be aware. Lots of free parking. Easy to get in and out of. Food is typical DQ fare but with that saying, ever had an issue with...them. View all feedback.

Service was good and the place was packed at 3 in the afternoon on a hot day. Nice size for the banana split.
This particular Dairy Queen (DQ) is located in the community of Colwood, which is a suburb of the greater Victoria area. Now, there really isn't too much to say about Dairy Queen because, really, once you've been to one then you've pretty much been to them all; however, I will say that I like this location because of it's proximity to home, so it offers convenience. I mean, who doesn't like ordering a banana split at 10AM at the drive-thru to take home, right? ;)While my partner and I have mostly done the drive-thru here, we have dined in on at least a couple of occasions and the premises themselves have been clean and well-maintained. The staff have always been efficient -- something that is especially impressive during the busy summer period! After all, DQ is the best way to beat the summer heat. . .An aside: the title of this review is taken from signage that DQ usually employs during the summer. Most of them do this, but this location. . .even typing this makes me laugh. Last year, they kept the sign up until late NOVEMBER! It's not exactly scorching outside at that time of the year, but hey, if it works!FOOD: 4/5SERVICE: 4/5VALUE: 5/5RECOMMENDATION: Dairy Queen has come a long way over the last couple of decades. They've gone from being strictly associated with ice cream and other cool treats like their legendary Blizzard, to being mostly associated with ice cream, cool treats and Blizzards, and somewhat known for burgers and other "hot eats." Still, one cannot get enough of their fabulous soft serve and Buster Bars!
I know this isn't high class dining, but this particular franchise is always below par.__It is the only place I have ever been that does not put cheese in a
I entered this establishment with hopes of a sweet blizzard to end my Saturday night with a great pal.
