Charelli's & Co - Victoria

Needed to pick up a few sandwiches for my family I was visiting in Victoria today and remembered this place. Fantastic baguette to go sandwiches that are made fresh. I've been before but I'm vegetarian now so wasn't sure what they'd offer. I could pick any of the vegetarian spreads they have in the deli fridge. I chose the feta spread and the artichoke spread. She said she'd check to see if there were some fresh greens in the attached restaurant and voila. The sandwiches were so delicious! There's so much to look at in the shop as you wait: cheeses, olive oils, syrups, speciality items, gifts: it's a wonderful little place. Staff are friendly and accommodating. The meat sandwiches that I've had in the past were just as delicious!

This is a wonderful deli with super friendly service. They have a great selection of meats and cheeses, home made salads and breads amongst other delights. They will make a sandwich for you as well. On Fridays and Saturdays there is also a take out window which specializes in the best Pulled Pork Sandwiches.In addition if there is some speciality you want they will order it in as well. THey ladies working there are really friendly and helpful.

This well- known deli is too small for all the goods they carry. Someone knocked over a rack of pasta the last time I was there. The Greek salad I bought was average at best. Not going back soon.

Not only do they have imported cheese but lots of other imported foods that you won't find at your big grocer and you get the best friendly service there is. The weekends have a morning bistro type cafe that cooks up some delicious breakfast sandwiches and lunch time sandwiches, you can take it with you or eat it there! The menu changes a bit from week to week but its always good. Don't forget to tell your friends about the catering they offer as well. All I can say is check this place out and you won't be disappointed.
