We ate here twice during our five day stay in Victoria.

WeirdI wasn't looking for a restaurant I've already been to, but super tired from a long day of traveling and I found myself at Browns.

I order the sushi at other locations and it is good but at this location there is nothing but rice and sauce! I brought this to the attention of the server and all she said was ok what do you want.. didn't care at all. I tried to show her and she walked away. Strange. And then she charged me full price for my happy hour beer, I didn't mention anything Bc I already had to send something back. Well at least other options on their menu are great!

Browns is a decent place to pop into for happy hour and $5 glass of wine between 4-6pm with an appetizer or two. Appetizers are okay. I was a fan of the delicious fish tacos before they changed the menu and started deep frying the fish, added fries as a side and upped the price significantly. Pretty much ruined the best fish tacos in town if you ask me. But, if you're just looking for a cheap drink or two before heading somewhere else, it's good. If you're intentionally heading there for Happy Hour btw, make sure you keep an eye on the time because the wait staff won't warn you when the happy hour prices are over.
