The margaritas are the best I’ve tasted in a long time. Then I saw the gf dulce de leche donuts. Ohhh I died. Delicious! I’d do a full fiver if they’d use corn tortillas! Separate fryer for the tots too! View all feedback.
What Yoshiko Jenkins doesn't like about Boomtown:
Heard great things about this place! Awesome outdoor patio. Checked with the server that both the beef burrito bowl and tots were gluten free before ordering and haven’t had a reaction like this in a while. Food may be gluten free but based on my experience, would not recommend for celiacs. Burrito bowl was mediocre, very plain and very few toppings (mostly lettuce rice and beef). View all feedback.
Menu not marked gf, but server very knowledgeable about celiac and what was safe. The whole menu is gf except for the wheat tortillas. Chips fried in a gf fryer. Had nachos, loaded tots and wings. Really great! Adding this place to one of my fave Victoria celiac spots!
Everthing on the menu, but the totillas are gluten-free. Eat here twice with my partner and never had a problem! And it is absolutely delicious
The margaritas are the best I've had in a long time! Then I spotted the gluten-free dulce de leche donuts, and I was blown away. Absolutely delicious! I would give a full five stars if they used corn tortillas! Just a side note for that!
The beef burrito bowl was fantastic, and the server assured me that the miso dressing was gluten-free.
I had heard wonderful things about this restaurant, and the outdoor patio is fantastic! Before placing my order, I confirmed with the server that both the beef burrito bowl and the tots were gluten-free. Unfortunately, I experienced a reaction, which I hadn’t had in a long time. While the food may be labeled as gluten-free, based on my experience, I wouldn’t recommend it for those with celiac disease. The burrito bowl was mediocre as well—quite bland with very few toppings; it mainly consisted of lettuce, rice, and beef.
